Week 30

Day 1

Overview Jeremiah 30:1-24 - "Yahweh's Vacci-Nation Schedule For His People". As we read through this week, notice our God Yahweh acting in His capacity as the Great Physician to heal and restore His people, yet His method for doing so seems counterintuitive, like vaccination. As we read of Him preparing them, maybe we could gain insight into how it is that He is also preparing us.

Day 2

Jeremiah 30:1-3, 4, 5-7. "Words Pregnant With Meaning". As we read our sections today, notice the change in tone as Jeremiah begins taking down the words Yahweh is giving him to give to His people. There is the sense of a new season. A new optimism that is justified because Yahweh is justifying it.
Of special note to us in our time, a time where imaginations can and do become simulated realities, we may look at verse six far differently than any audience that preceded us; in so doing, we can easily miss the intended meaning entirely. In its context, the verse is painting a particular picture of temporary suffering that will in the end lead to great joy.

Jeremiah 30:8-9, 10-11. "Yahweh's Timing Is Perfect". As we read today, notice that Yahweh is letting us know what He will be doing in HIS timing, not according to what the false prophets were saying. His timing. He knows His plans.

Day 4

Jeremiah 30:12-17 - "This Is About Zion". Our reading today expresses the surgical nature of Yahweh's rescue plan. We, like Yahweh's people, suffer great pain as a result of our own choice to sin instead of obeying our God. We like them can be healed and restored by Him, but not without the drawing of a figurative scalpel.

And our enemies, like theirs, will be squared away at the conclusion of the procedure.

Dr. Yahweh Rophe is IN.

Jeremiah 30:18-22 - "RE: Covered By Yahweh". Precious promises we read in today's portion; passages such as these we dearly cherish, and moreso as we walk through deathly valleys and fiery trials. Notice and study further the Jesus references in verse 21 and mark the phrasing in verse 22: we who are His will be His people, and He will indeed be our God. And we will in word praise Him and in deed honor Him.

Jeremiah 30:23-24 - "Save Verity". In finishing the chapter in our reading today, let us recall yet again that Yahweh is not Someone with whom to trifle. Everything is His, regardless of our beliefs. Even the wind obeys Him. It's HIS wind. The elements are all His. WE are His. The Plan is His.
Even as the Great Benevolent of the Universe, if He doesn't terrify you, you're simply not paying attention.

Wake up.

Review Jeremiah 30:1-24 and REST in the wisdom that
Sooner or later we all are or will be blown away by Yahweh's righteous wrath and rage;
How much better it is to be blown away by His goodness, His mercy, and His grace.
